Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming four girls from Year 7 to our company as part of Girls Day. It was an inspiring opportunity for them to gain an insight into the exciting world of software development.

Girls Day is an important initiative that aims to get girls interested in professions that are traditionally occupied by men. At our company, the girls had the opportunity to experience first-hand how diverse and fascinating the world of programming can be.

After a short company presentation, the girls were given an introduction to the basics of HTML and CSS, the building blocks of web development. They were then allowed to develop their own website – an exciting challenge that they accepted with enthusiasm. They not only showed technical skill, but also creativity and team spirit.

We firmly believe that events such as Girls Day can help to create more diversity and equal opportunities in the world of work. We are proud to have made a contribution to inspiring young girls for the world of software development.
