What does a software developer actually do? We were able to answer these and other questions for our new interns this week. From 21 to 24 May, they were able to go through a varied program of various IT basics with us and experience the day-to-day work at a local IT training company at first hand. As always, the workshop was supervised by us trainees and dual students. This is because we can answer both technical and personal questions about the content, company and training and give the trainees a feeling of what it is like to be part of TecAlliance
Traditionally, the workshop began with an entertaining company presentation and a tour of the site, during which the interns had the opportunity to get to know their colleagues. This was followed by the basics of web development with HTML and CSS, followed by an introduction to the programming language Python. Finally, the workshop supervisors gave an introduction to data types, loops and lists. In addition to the theoretical basics, there were of course also numerous practical exercises and examples that enabled the participants to apply the knowledge they had learned directly and comprehensively.
We are pleased that we were able to pass on our knowledge and experience to our trainees and wish them all the best for the future. Perhaps one or two of them will start their training or studies with us at TecAlliance in September.
