St. Bern­hard School had as­ked us in ad­van­ce to re­frain from gi­ving out pro­mo­tio­nal gifts so that the stu­dents could con­cen­tra­te ful­ly on the con­tent. We the­r­e­fo­re only dis­tri­bu­ted flyers.

Zhan­na and Ma­ri­am re­pre­sen­ted TecAlliance at the fair on May 8th. Ma­ri­am re­por­ted af­ter­wards that the ge­ne­ral in­te­rest in IT was un­fort­u­na­te­ly ra­ther low. Nevert­hel­ess, the­re were some in­te­res­ted stu­dents who were very hap­py about our work­shop – for which you can register.

One par­ti­cu­lar to­pic of con­ver­sa­ti­on was the state­ment that “IT is not the fu­ture – be­cau­se of AI”. This feed­back show­ed us that the­re is still a lot of edu­ca­ti­on and un­der­stan­ding nee­ded in this area.

In con­ver­sa­ti­on with the stu­dents, we also tal­ked about our ever­y­day life at TecAlliance – about the dual stu­dy pro­gram, training op­por­tu­ni­ties, as­sign­ments ab­road, per­so­nal ex­pe­ri­en­ces and what we par­ti­cu­lar­ly en­joy about our work.

The school took very good care of us – with ple­nty of food and a plea­sant, re­la­xed atmosphere.

We are al­re­a­dy loo­king for­ward to the next trade fair and to get­ting even more young peo­p­le in­te­res­ted in TecAlliance and the IT sector.
