Karaoke Night Vol. 2

It’s been a while since our last karaoke night – so it was high time for round two

On April 8, 2025, we met again at 8 p.m. to sing, laugh, and simply have a good evening together. We fortified ourselves with pizzas and kebabs from a local pizzeria before starting the karaoke. This time, as usual, the song selection was wildly varied: From rock to Disney songs, opera, K‑pop, current chart hits, and even typical karaoke classics, there was everything, so no one had an excuse not to know a song.

To ensure that the same people weren’t always holding the microphone, we introduced a little system: The person who would sing next was chosen by a turntable. The person drawn was then allowed to choose a song – and anyone who knew it could simply join in. This created an interesting group dynamic and even resulted in a few unplanned duets.

The atmosphere was very relaxed, and even if some people were a bit hesitant at first, that was forgotten after a few songs. Just like last time, the focus was on having fun – no matter how off-key a note or two might have been.

It was all over around midnight – but of course, we packed up together before everyone went home, tired but happy.

Bottom line: Karaoke always works. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
