This year the pro­gram ” Som­mer im Schloss” took place on­line. In­ter­na­tio­nal pro­s­pec­ti­ve stu­dents could par­ti­ci­pa­te in a th­ree-week se­mi­nar for applicants.

The stu­dents had an in­ten­si­ve Ger­man cour­se for th­ree weeks, got to know a few world mar­ket lea­ding com­pa­nies and pre­pared ap­pli­ca­ti­on do­cu­ments. This pre­pared them op­ti­mal­ly for the sub­se­quent speed-da­ting, du­ring which the com­pa­ny and the stu­dent could get to know each other bet­ter, and the stu­dent might even be of­fe­red a place at university.

This year, 12 stu­dents from dif­fe­rent count­ries took part. The­se in­cluded: Ita­ly, Bul­ga­ria, Hun­ga­ry and Lat­via. Due to the Co­ro­na pan­de­mic, the who­le se­mi­nar took place on­line. The TecAlliance the­r­e­fo­re in­tro­du­ced its­elf via a Mi­cro­soft team mee­ting and in­for­med about the 6 dual stu­dy pro­grams we offer.

13 of our stu­dents tal­ked about their per­so­nal ex­pe­ri­en­ces and the ad­van­ta­ges of stu­dy­ing at TecAlliance. Nor­mal­ly the stu­dents would have ta­ken a tour of the com­pa­ny in Wei­kers­heim. Un­fort­u­na­te­ly, this was not pos­si­ble this year. In­s­tead, a tour vi­deo was shot, show­ing a few de­part­ments, the can­teen and our bar­be­cue area. We also tal­ked about the se­mes­ter ab­road and about the grants. Our training ma­na­ger and an­o­ther trai­ner were also pre­sent and sup­port­ed the pre­sen­ta­ti­on with the most im­portant in­for­ma­ti­on about the TecAlliance.
