Our last time at the DHBW

And it’s already happened: The six theory semesters at the DHBW have flown by. The last theory semester was particularly exciting and challenging. Instead of a lot of written exams, our skills were put to the test in various group projects that challenged our overall knowledge. These projects required a high degree of self-organisation as there were fewer lectures and we had to work a lot independently. However, the lecturers were regularly available during office hours to answer questions and help with any problems.

Looking back on the 18 months we spent at the DHBW, there are many positive memories, but also challenging and stressful phases. The lectures, most of which were very practical, prepared us well for the demands of working life and gave us valuable experience. In particular, the intensive collaboration in the project groups not only deepened our specialist knowledge, but also strengthened our teamwork and problem-solving skills. A particular advantage for us was that we studied together. We supported and motivated one another and could always rely on each other, especially during group work. The mutual support, the team spirit within the project group and the constant support from the lecturers were crucial elements that led to success.

Despite the challenges, we look back at this time in a positive light and are now looking forward to the next steps in our respective careers, well equipped thanks to the practical training at the DHBW
