Recently, we trainees and students were given access to “A Cloud Guru”. This is an interactive learning platform that specializes in cloud computing and, in addition to conventional learning videos, also offers so-called hands-on labs where you don’t just sit still and listen, but can build architectures and try out services independently with demo accounts in the environment of the relevant cloud providers, such as AWS. This is the decisive advantage of “A Cloud Guru”, as it focuses on practical implementation, where you can also gain your own experience with it and don’t just have to learn by watching.
Cloud computing has a great future ahead of it and is already in use in many places due to its versatile advantages. Accordingly, the licences are just right for learning how to use the platforms for the first time and for targeted further training.
Personally, it helped me to get a good first insight into AWS, so that I can now also use the first services of over 200 on my own. I also set up my first Kubernetes clusters, although I still need a bit more practice.
