Last week, the time had finally come: I attended the AWS Summit 2025 in Hamburg – and it was not only a technical highlight, but also an all-round inspiring trip with lots of exciting moments and great people.
The trip began on the first day with the journey to Hamburg. After a quick check-in and welcome drink, we went straight to the miniature wonderland, which was very impressive with its detailed miniature landscapes.
The second day was then all about the Summit. The keynotes and specialist presentations offered exciting insights into current trends in cloud computing, AI and scalable infrastructures. The innovative use cases were particularly exciting, showing how companies are using AWS solutions to solve real problems creatively and efficiently. Between the sessions, there was time to exchange ideas with other participants – from developers to architects, everything was there. In the evening, the event continued with a joint company dinner – directly at the port of Hamburg. In a relaxed atmosphere, with a view of the water and good food, we were able to reflect on the day.
On the third day, we had an internal meeting with our contacts from AWS. Here we reflected on the previous day of the Summit and discussed current topics. It was very valuable to exchange ideas about challenges and opportunities in a small group and to get a deeper insight into the collaboration.
On the fourth day, it was time to leave again. The days in Hamburg were not only professionally interesting, but also a good opportunity to look beyond my own day-to-day work and gain new impressions – both professionally and personally. The AWS Summit 2025 was definitely a worthwhile event that provided many exciting impulses.
