In co­ope­ra­ti­on with the DHBW, a work­shop for in­ter­na­tio­nal stu­dents took place at TecAlliance in Wei­kers­heim on March 21 and 23, 2023. Wi­thin the frame­work of this work­shop, the par­ti­ci­pan­ts had the op­por­tu­ni­ty to gain an in­sight into the ac­ti­vi­ties of a pro­gramm­er. The first day star­ted with a gui­ded tour th­rough the com­pa­ny buil­ding to get to know TecAlliance and its dif­fe­rent de­part­ments. Af­ter­wards, the vi­si­tors re­cei­ved an in­tro­duc­tion to HTML and CSS. The par­ti­ci­pan­ts mas­te­red the tasks with in­cre­asing dif­fi­cul­ty and ac­qui­red a lot of new know­ledge. Af­ter a day break, the par­ti­ci­pan­ts lear­ned some pro­gramming ba­sics and star­ted sol­ving Py­thon tasks. Th­rough a good mix of theo­ry and prac­ti­cal tasks, the par­ti­ci­pan­ts were able to learn the ba­sics and in­ter­na­li­ze them. The work­shop en­ded with a feed­back round for the work­shop, which was quite positive.
