Yes­ter­day, 16 in­ter­na­tio­nal pro­s­pec­ti­ve stu­dents vi­si­ted us at our lo­ca­ti­on in Wei­kers­heim. In the so-cal­led in­ter­na­tio­nal “Stu­di­en­kol­leg” of the DHBW Mos­bach at the cam­pus Bad Mer­gen­theim, the pro­s­pec­ti­ve stu­dents are pre­pared for their stu­dies in Ger­ma­ny in one year. The stu­dents learn the Ger­man lan­guage, but also ma­the­ma­tics and fur­ther to­pics in tech­ni­cal and eco­no­mic are­as. Com­pa­ny vi­sits are also plan­ned as part of this “Stu­di­en­kol­leg” so that stu­dents can get to know va­rious po­ten­ti­al part­ner com­pa­nies. Af­ter a warm wel­co­me by our training ma­na­ger Kers­tin Lang­ohr, a ge­ne­ral pre­sen­ta­ti­on of TecAlliance by Ralf Pelk­mann fol­lo­wed. A short tour of the com­pa­ny buil­ding, which was ta­ken over by the trai­nees, was also included. 

In or­der to give an in­sight into the dai­ly work rou­ti­ne and the ty­pi­cal cour­se of a dual stu­dy pro­gram, the dif­fe­rent stu­dy cour­ses were pre­sen­ted in ad­di­ti­on to the trai­nee teams. Buil­ding on this, our vi­si­tors had the op­por­tu­ni­ty to ask our TecAlliance stu­dents va­rious ques­ti­ons about the in­di­vi­du­al stu­dy programs. 

The day was com­ple­ted with a shared piz­za din­ner. At the end, each of the par­ti­ci­pan­ts was gi­ven a goo­die bag. We hope to wel­co­me some of the par­ti­ci­pan­ts to TecAlliance in Sep­tem­ber 2023.
