Intern ship workshop in Ismaning

Together with Ioanna, I was in charge of the trainee workshop in Ismaning last week. We had a total of 6 participants with whom we did HTML, CSS, Python and Raspberry Pi. It was an exciting opportunity for the interns to deepen their knowledge in these areas and gain practical experience.

The workshop started with an introduction to the company and a short tour of the company. Then it continued with HTML and CSS, the basics of web development. The trainees learned how to structure websites using HTML and gained insights into designing websites with CSS. Through practical exercises, they had the opportunity to create their own websites and experiment with different design elements.

Another important focus of the workshop was the programming language Python. The trainees received an introduction to the syntax and learned basic concepts such as variables, loops and conditions. They had the opportunity to realise small projects with Python, which allowed them to develop their programming skills, including, for example, the game Tic Tac Toe or Snake.

Particularly exciting for the trainees was the introduction to Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi is a small, inexpensive computer that can be used for a variety of projects. The interns learned how to set up Raspberry Pi and how to program it using Python. They had the opportunity to do simple projects, such as controlling an LED, displaying a text or image, or measuring temperature and humidity.

Overall, the trainee workshop was a great success. The interns were able to gain valuable experience and basic knowledge in the areas of web development, programming and hardware projects with Raspberry Pi.
