This year, the annual Girls’ Day took place again and TecAlliance was happy to participate. On this special day, female students get the opportunity to gain insights into professions and areas of work that are still often dominated by men. As a technical company, we were very pleased to welcome the girls and give them an exciting look behind the scenes of our daily work.
We started the day with a company tour, where the girls were able to explore our premises and learn more about the different departments at TecAlliance. During the tour, they also had the chance to meet our CEO and Vice President, which gave them a special insight into the company and its leadership.
Afterwards, the students received an introduction to HTML and CSS. They learned the basics of web design and got to understand how websites are built and styled. This gave them a first impression of how creative and interesting working with technology can be.
Another highlight of the day was the introduction to artificial intelligence. The girls learned what AI is, where it is already used in everyday life, and how it can support people in school, work, and daily tasks. This helped them understand that AI is not only a future topic, but already part of our lives today.
Of course, the day was not only about learning. There was also time for fun and games. The girls played Werwolf, darts, Nintendo Switch, and Tischkicker together. These activities created a relaxed atmosphere and gave everyone the chance to get to know each other better.
Overall, it was a successful and varied Girls’ Day 2026 at TecAlliance. The girls were able to gain insights into the IT industry, learn new technical skills, discover the possibilities of artificial intelligence, and have a lot of fun together. We hope that this day inspired them to become more interested in technical professions and to see that women can be just as successful in the IT world.
