Rotation Caruso

On 05.12.22 my rotation from Weikersheim to Mannheim started, as I am spending my current practical phase in the Customer Experience Team of CARUSO. In order to not only work remotely, I got the opportunity to get to know the location and the employees of the subsidiary CARUSO on site for one week.

Together with Tina and Alexa, who are also in the Customer Experience Team, I get to do exciting tasks and have the chance to expand my knowledge in the field of UI/UX. One of my tasks includes creating a new newsletter article, as well as developing a possible landing page for a project where CARUSO is collaborating with another company. Since there were no design guidelines at the beginning of the landing page, there are a few things that need to be considered when creating it. For one thing, thought has to be given to which imagery, color scheme, icons and font to choose in order to provide the user with the best possible user interface, and thus the best possible user experience.

One of the highlights of this week in Mannheim was the Christmas party of CARUSO, to which I was invited. At the beginning there was mulled wine to warm up a bit. After that, we played ice-stock shooting, which was a lot of fun. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel to have a delicious meal and thirst-quenching drinks, and to have many interesting and funny conversations with the employees.

The trip to Mannheim was a complete success in my eyes, as I had the opportunity to meet many new and nice people. I am looking forward to my remaining weeks at CARUSO, whether on-site or remote.
