The DHBW Mosbach organises every year an information day to inform pupils and prospective students about the advantages of a dual study and to support them in finding an appropriate courses of study. This year, the info day took place online due to the Corona situation. Together with our training manager Kerstin Langohr, we, the dual students of TecAlliance, participated in the DHBW DigiDay.
The DigiDay started early for us. We opened our virtual live room in Microsoft Teams at 9:30 a.m. Here all prospective students could be advised by us. In addition, we set up a chat on the TalentsConnect webpage. So that we could quickly answer the questions of the prospective students.
For the company presentation, we got a time slot from 11:30 to 11:45 in the Zoom meeting of the DHBW. In the presentation, we introduced TecAlliance, explained the company’s areas of activity, went into detail about the courses of study we offer, and finally we gave an insight into the trainee team.
After the presentation, one student logged into our live room. He was interested in the course of study “Industrial Engineering – Innovation & Product Management ” and was glad to be informed by our dual student Rebekka Rank about that. Later, some other prospective students contacted out training manager.
In summary, the DigiDay was well. But the experience of the previous year says that on-the-spot info days are more reasonable. And we hope to have this opportunity soon again.
