The DHBW Mos­bach or­ga­ni­s­es every year an in­for­ma­ti­on day to in­form pu­pils and pro­s­pec­ti­ve stu­dents about the ad­van­ta­ges of a dual stu­dy and to sup­port them in fin­ding an ap­pro­pria­te cour­ses of stu­dy. This year, the info day took place on­line due to the Co­ro­na si­tua­ti­on. Tog­e­ther with our training ma­na­ger Kers­tin Lang­ohr, we, the dual stu­dents of TecAlliance, par­ti­ci­pa­ted in the DHBW DigiDay.

The Di­gi­Day star­ted ear­ly for us. We ope­ned our vir­tu­al live room in Mi­cro­soft Teams at 9:30 a.m. Here all pro­s­pec­ti­ve stu­dents could be ad­vi­sed by us. In ad­di­ti­on, we set up a chat on the Ta­lent­s­Con­nect web­page. So that we could quick­ly ans­wer the ques­ti­ons of the pro­s­pec­ti­ve students.

For the com­pa­ny pre­sen­ta­ti­on, we got a time slot from 11:30 to 11:45 in the Zoom mee­ting of the DHBW. In the pre­sen­ta­ti­on, we in­tro­du­ced TecAlliance, ex­plai­ned the company’s are­as of ac­ti­vi­ty, went into de­tail about the cour­ses of stu­dy we of­fer, and fi­nal­ly we gave an in­sight into the trai­nee team.

Af­ter the pre­sen­ta­ti­on, one stu­dent log­ged into our live room. He was in­te­res­ted in the cour­se of stu­dy “In­dus­tri­al En­gi­nee­ring – In­no­va­ti­on & Pro­duct Ma­nage­ment ” and was glad to be in­for­med by our dual stu­dent Re­bek­ka Rank about that.  La­ter, some other pro­s­pec­ti­ve stu­dents cont­ac­ted out training manager.

In sum­ma­ry, the Di­gi­Day was well. But the ex­pe­ri­ence of the pre­vious year says that on-the-spot info days are more re­asonable. And we hope to have this op­por­tu­ni­ty soon again.
