Our trai­nee ro­ta­ti­on to Co­lo­gne took place from Oc­to­ber 15–16, gi­ving us, Ro­bin Mohr and Tim Tippl, the op­por­tu­ni­ty to fa­mi­lia­ri­ze our­sel­ves with the Co­lo­gne lo­ca­ti­on and meet the trainers.

We spent a to­tal of two days in Co­lo­gne. The first day be­gan with a warm wel­co­me from the trai­ners, who gave us an over­view of the lo­ca­ti­on and the pro­ces­ses the­re. We were gi­ven in­te­res­t­ing in­sights into the va­rious de­part­ments and their tasks.

On the se­cond day, we had an in­ter­view with our trai­ner in which we dis­cus­sed the fur­ther cour­se of our training. Our per­so­nal skills were also ta­ken into ac­count, so that each of us was gi­ven a sui­ta­ble task ac­cor­ding to our cur­rent le­vel of knowledge.

Over­all, the ro­ta­ti­on was an en­ri­ching ex­pe­ri­ence that gave us new per­spec­ti­ves on our training. We look for­ward to in­cor­po­ra­ting what we have lear­ned into our dai­ly work.
