Flotte! Der Branchentreff is a trade fair where manufacturers, importers, leasing companies and service providers from the commercial vehicle fleet meet fleet decision-makers with fleets of various sizes. TecAlliance was also part of this fair, we represented the exhibitors as well as the fleet owners. The purpose is to get to know the services and products of other companies, but also to make new contacts. The fair took place from 03/21/18 to 03/22/18 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.
We five dual students, Anna-Leana, Moritz, Maria, Sebastian and Jana also took the chance and could be part of the fair on 03/22/18.
We arrived the day before, to start the next morning on time and fit. When we arrived in Düsseldorf, our stomachs were growling, which is why we visited a restaurant as soon as possible. The next morning, we went to the fair, since it was the first time for the most of us to visit such a fair, we were of course very curious and could hardly wait.
After we picked up our tickets at the entrance, we plunged into the hustle. We had many interesting conversations, which enabled us to gain a lot of new knowledge, which we can certainly bring to the company. But we were also able to make TecAlliance for the one or the other to a household name.
Some of the exhibitors also gave interesting presentations, for example on the future of autonomous driving, which will probably become a reality in the near future. Even if, according to the presenter, it will still take some time in Germany, he has predicted that autonomous driving could become a reality in the USA as early as 2022/2023, which means that there will probably not even be a steering wheel in the car.
In addition to all the information we were able to collect, the physical well-being was not neglected, it applied “everything is included”, so an empty stomach had no chance, from the hearty to the sweet crêpe everything was there.
Around 4 pm we made our way home together with two other colleagues who were also at the fair.
In general, we can say that it was definitely worth it and we are really grateful that this was made possible for us.
