Studywork: When webshops learn how to speak

Chat bots are text-based or voice-driven dialog systems, and are a simple, rule-based form of artificial intelligence that allows users to place orders similar to talking to a vendor or exchanging text messages, Based ordering systems (WhatsApp, Signal, …) or voice-controlled ordering systems, which can also be used during a car trip.
Since the AlphaGo victory against the best human Go player, the topic of artificial intelligence has been very popular among the general public and is also of great interest to IT. Technology companies like Microsoft, Facebook and Google invest a lot of money and work time in the development of their AI software.
The test systems were developed on the basis of Cortana and the Microsoft Bot Framework by the two students. This allows you to select articles and add them to the shopping cart via a web shop connected via the REST interface. The order is concluded by specifying a delivery address and the payment information.”
