SAP Ex­pert Group

I am stu­dy­ing In­ter­na­tio­nal Busi­ness – Sa­les and Mar­ke­ting at DHBW Mos­bach in Bad Mer­gen­theim. Cur­r­ent­ly, I am working in the Con­sul­ting and Im­ple­men­ta­ti­on (C&I) de­part­ment. C&I con­sults the cus­to­mers re­gar­ding the TecAlliance so­lu­ti­ons. They eva­lua­te which so­lu­ti­on fits the customer’s com­pa­ny the most and the C&I em­ployees deal with the cus­to­mers’ in­di­vi­du­al wis­hes and re­qui­re­ments.

On Thurs­day, I went with the C&I – de­part­ment to the SAP Ex­pert Group in Frank­furt. In this mee­ting, not only the C&I and sa­les em­ployees of TecAlliance take part but also our cus­to­mers. Du­ring this event, the cus­to­mers get to know the pro­ducts bet­ter and the cus­to­mers have the op­por­tu­ni­ty to ask ques­ti­ons and give some re­marks or wis­hes re­gar­ding the pro­ducts. Du­ring the va­rious spee­ches, the cus­to­mers star­ted to dis­cuss the pro­ducts with each other. But they also gave each other hints on how to use the pro­ducts the most ef­fi­ci­ent and the va­rious pro­duct fea­tures.

With the aid of this mee­ting, TecAlliance can re­spond di­rect­ly to the cus­to­mers’ wis­hes and re­qui­re­ments. The­re­fo­re, the TecAlliance can ad­apt its pro­ducts ac­cord­ing to the cus­to­mers. Fur­ther­mo­re, TecAlliance can es­tab­lish strong re­la­ti­ons­hips to its cus­to­mers.

We did not only dis­cuss the who­le day but we also had a lunch tog­e­ther and several cof­fee breaks with snacks.

For me, it was very in­te­res­ting to get to know some con­ta­ct per­sons of our cus­to­mers. But the most in­te­res­ting was to hear from the cus­to­mers what they think about our pro­ducts and how they like them.

In the evening, we dro­ve back to Is­ma­ning af­ter a suc­cess­ful day.
