Last week my colleague Yannik and me (Jan-Luka) had the opportunity to participate at the SAP certification course “Integrated Business Processes in SAP S/4HANA” at the University of Jena.

The course already started on Saturday and also went on Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. During the course we got an overview on SAP S/4HANA, the newest SAP product, and the different modules and applications. In the course we also got to know the basic business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procture-to-Pay and Plan-to-Produce) and their integration in SAP S/4HANA. We also had the opportunity to directly follow the business processes and the corresponding procedures with the use of a SAP test system.

In the evenings in Jena we tested some of the restaurants. Here we noticed that Jena is quite abandoned, which was not least due to the fact that there is currently no lecture time at the University of Jena.

After seven days of frontal teaching using an 850-page script, we were able to return to our company location in Weikersheim on Friday.

Now we will prepare ourselves for the upcoming exam. On the successful completion we will receive an official certificate from SAP.
