Mission as DHBW-ambassador

During my second practical phase I had the opportunity to be assigned as DHBW ambassador by the university and TecAlliance. This is a project in which present students return to their former schools and inform pupils about the dual studies and the respective partner company, or represent the DHBW at vocational and training fairs. In my case I attended the commercial college for economics and data processing at the KSM in Bad Mergentheim. To become a DHBW ambassador, you first have to attend an introductory event organized by the university, in which I participated already in November 2017. Shortly afterwards I was able to get in touch with the school and arrange three appointments in which I could inform about 80 students. Already at the first lecture on March 12th the interest was very high and many questions were asked. The other two lectures on March 15th and 23 also aroused the pupils’ interest in the dual study system. Finally, I can say that the DHBW Ambassador project is very well received and I was pleased to represent TecAlliance and DHBW. It would be great if we could win more DHBW ambassadors at TecAlliance to increase awareness of the company and DHBW.
