This day started a bit different than the others, even though we had breakfast together right after it we met at the school tram station to start our second company tour. Our schedule brought us to the game publisher Madfinger Games, they work in the mobile games sector. After a rather long ride we were warmly welcomed by two employees in the company lobby. Those two took us then in the sacred halls of Game Design. In this area, we were not allowed to take any pictures and had to be very quiet because they were working on a new game. We continued to all the different departments like Marketing, Design, Layout and further to Coding and Testing.

We realized how many different skill sets you need for creating a game. After that the human resource manager told us a bit about the application process at Madfinger Games and the daily work life in the company.

As we were done with this part and after a short break we were used to run some marketing research after that we were allowed to play some of their games.

For Testing they provided us a few iPads and VR-glasses which we had to use to fight us through hordes of zombies or build a model of a car. In the end, they gave us some Merchandise consisting of three T‑shirts.

After we said goodbye we set out for the long ride back. We still had some hours left to work on our own game which we did back in school. We translated questions, populated pictures, finalized the bid comparison and did some coding.

As we were back in the hotel, the work wasn´t done to finish the game on schedule the programmers kept on working till the night to have a functional version of the game ready on Friday morning.

On this day, we hadn´t planned anything for the evening so we split up in small groups. Every group enjoyed a good dinner in different restaurants and died away the day as we realized the week in Czech Republic was nearly over.
