Matthias in Czech Republic – Day 1

Yesterday I went with my class to Czech Republic and I will report you what happened there every day.
We met at 9 o’clock at the Würzburger central station. After everybody was there, we took the train to Vienna.
Because we had to split ourselves in the train not everyone could watch the Hobbit while eating muffins. This changed in Passau where we all had to change places.
After a certain time, we came in Vienna. Here we had to wait 2 hours for the next train, we have bridged the time in an Asia restaurant. Afterwards we took our next train to Brno. Above you can see the Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna. One and a half-hour later we reached the Brno railway station where we cordially received.
Now we had to take the tram to our hotel. After this rapid and exciting journey, we had to walk through an iced up way to the hotel. Across there is beautifully designed railway.
After a small rest, we met us again in the hotel lobby, to plan the rest of the day. A part of us went with our two teachers trough the city and ended up in the restaurant “Na Purkynce“. The other part was looking for something to eat too. We found a grill and steakhouse called “Buchter”, were the most of us eat a salad to damp our dried throats. After we found the way back, we enjoyed the soft beds and looked forward to the next day.
