Since a few weeks we have a new trainee in Weikersheim. His name is Fadi Kamleh, he is 22 years old and comes from Syria. Together with him we have conducted a short interview so that everyone has the opportunity to get to know him better.
Fadi has been in Germany for almost three years and has lived in Boxberg since then. Since studying is his big dream, he decided to take part in a ZIF course at the DHBW, the main aim of which is integration at work. Among the contents of the course is mainly the improvement of the language level of the participants, the determination of the basics in mathematics, economics and technology and enabling them to do an internship with a dual partner.
When asked why Fadi applied for an internship at TecAlliance, he replies that he made this decision himself. The fact that the company focuses on information technology has aroused his interest, because this is exactly what he wants to do.
His internship started on 09.07 and will continue until 03.08. He says that at the beginning of the internship he got quite a lot information about the company’s activities. But they were not entirely new to him, as he was very well informed about TecAlliance in advance. Later he had the opportunity to go through the individual departments.
After he got to know the company, he got the first tasks he had to deal with. He was given the basics in C#. He was able to apply the knowledge gained in the execution of several small projects.
He is currently in the software development department, focusing on the next project.
Getting an internship in the company was one of Fadi’s goals. He still talks about how he got the approval and how happy he was about it. Fadi says that he believes that he “is on the right track” and hopes very much to get his place at university.
He had difficulties at the beginning, as he dealt with the programming language C# for the first time. He wanted to keep a lot of new information in mind, because it was important to him to fulfil the set tasks.
Finally, Fadi tells us what his first impression of TecAlliance was. He was very nervous and didn’t know how the others would accept him. But he says that all his worries disappeared when Maria welcomed him so warmly at the entrance.
He is very positively surprised by the people he has worked with so far. “They were all very friendly, kind and helpful to me,” said Fadi.
What he still has in front of him is a language course that he wants to complete with the language level C1.
We wish him continued success and hope to welcome him as a student in the coming year!
