International visit

On April 25, TecAlliance in Weikersheim was visited by a group of international school principals and teachers. The visit was part of a project of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University. The teachers came from different European countries (e.g. Bulgaria, Italy and Hungary).
The teaching staff have gained an insight into the company, the training occupations and the dual study courses. Starting with a short introduction to TecAlliance, the teachers gained knowledge about the activities of the trainees and dual students. They were able to convince themselves of the mutual cooperation, both privately and within the company.
They were supervised by our colleague Robert, a dual student who himself comes from Croatia. This enabled him to report directly on his own experiences and problems that he had when he started his studies in Germany. He told first-hand about the arrival, the registration at the new place of residence, the search for accommodation and enrolment at the dual university. But he could also report about the support of the company and his fellow students during his studies, which helped him to find his way around in Germany.
