My name is Illia Kalyzhniuk and I am currently pursuing a dual degree in business engineering at the Baden-Württemberg University of Applied Sciences (DHBW) in Bad Mergentheim. In the course of my studies I got the chance to complete the practical phase of the fourth semester at the TecAlliance Asia office in Shanghai.
During my stay in Shanghai, I have the task of analyzing and identifying which complementary transactions and message formats can be incorporated into our TecCom solutions for the Asian market.
Chinese colleagues simplified the first weeks of my adaptation in Shanghai. They not only helped me with communication problems but also with the purchase of a bicycle, which serves as a practical means of transport between the hotel, the office and the metro station. In addition, they gave me tips in which Chinese Restaurant there were the best “dumplings” (the stuffed pasties) and the best “hot pot”. At the weekend, I went to the center of Shanghai with the metro. Particularly impressive are the world-famous Skyline “The Bund” and the Chinese garden “Yuyuan Garden”.
Thanks to TecAlliance for this opportunity! I am looking forward to the next 5 weeks in Shanghai and I hope that I can take more beautiful experiences and discoveries.
Best regards from Schanghai,
