Our dual students of industrial engineering have every year the possibility to make a certificate in project management. During the third semester in November, wrote Marcel and Marcin this exam with positive effect.
Cooperation between DHBW Mosbach (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Mosbach)
and PM-ZERT (certification center of German Association for Project Management) give the possibility to acquire necessary knowledge and write this exam at the University. In addition to obligatory lectures, students interested in making this certificate get an eBook from GPM (German Association for Project Management) with extra topics. They have to learn for this exam mainly at home. Our professors try to do GPM-subjects at their lectures as much as possible, but it still stay a lot to do at home.
This basic certificate attest that the person understand fundamental topics of project management and is internationally recognized. That is a perfect way to acquire first skills in project management for students that would like to work as project leaders in the future or for team members that would like to know more about processes and techniques in management.
Examination requirements: 1500h of project-team work or 24 time hours or 36 lessons about project management.
Our “industrial engineering” study program meet all the requirements. The only thing to do is to learn extra topics and pass an exam. It is therefore highly recommended!
