In Oc­to­ber 2017, I star­ted a dual stu­dy pro­gram in busi­ness in­for­ma­tics with a spe­cia­liza­ti­on in sa­les & con­sul­ting at TecAlliance in or­der to deepen my know­ledge in the mix­tu­re of busi­ness ad­mi­nis­tra­ti­on and in­for­ma­tics, which is ex­tre­me­ly in­te­res­t­ing to me.

I spent the theo­ry pha­ses at the DHBW Lör­rach. In ad­di­ti­on to lec­tures by uni­ver­si­ty pro­fes­sors and lec­tu­r­ers from the pri­va­te sec­tor on the to­pics of busi­ness ad­mi­nis­tra­ti­on, da­ta­ba­ses, busi­ness pro­ces­ses, pro­ject ma­nage­ment, etc., I was able to ex­plo­re the pre­vious­ly unknown area around the bor­der tri­ang­le du­ring my free time.

Du­ring the prac­ti­cal pha­ses at the com­pa­ny, I got to know the Re­se­arch & In­no­va­ti­on de­part­ments, among others, and was al­lo­wed to work here on a pro­to­ty­pe for a chat­bot for 1st le­vel sup­port, for example.

Du­ring my se­cond in­tern­ship se­mes­ter, I vi­si­ted our com­pa­ny site in Co­lo­gne and work­ed on a way to crea­te an au­to­ma­ti­cal­ly ge­ne­ra­ted sa­les forecast.
In the penul­ti­ma­te and last prac­ti­cal se­mes­ter, I got to know the SAP team wi­thin the Or­der Ma­na­ger busi­ness unit. I found it par­ti­cu­lar­ly in­te­res­t­ing how lar­ge ma­nu­fac­tu­r­ers and spa­re parts dea­lers are in­te­gra­ted into the Or­der Ma­na­ger or­de­ring plat­form and how exact­ly I can sup­port cus­to­mers in this way in my role as a consultant.

For this re­ason, I de­ci­ded to work per­ma­nent­ly in the SAP team of TecAlliance af­ter my studies.

I par­ti­cu­lar­ly like the open working at­mo­sphe­re and the high le­vel of per­so­nal re­spon­si­bi­li­ty at TecAlliance, both du­ring my stu­dies and af­ter­wards. For my first pro­ject work, I was al­lo­wed to take part in a work­shop on the Mi­cro­soft Bot Frame­work, and in la­ter se­mes­ters I took part in fur­ther training in the SAP area in or­der to in­crease my know­ledge in the­se are­as. All of the training me­a­su­res were sup­port­ed by TecAlliance.
